Adorer Naam

We Bengalis always have two names - one used for the outer world and the other Adorer naam or daak naam(pet name)!
Maa had two too. Her Adorer naam was 'Khukhu'(little girl).
Though I met my maternal grandparents very few times, still I remember them calling Maa as Khukhu.
But I heard Baba always calling her Khukhu.
Baba got a brain stroke 7 years ago. He lost his speech for sometime. He can speak now but not clear enough.
No one calls Maa now by her Adorer naam - Khukhu!
